Just to re-assure those who worry.

No picture, no grand speak or anything. If someone breaks into your house you can if necessary, do this no matter what human rights say. Here is another example if you don't believe me. The object that often causes problems is what is reasonable. These both were, and the outcome was positive.

All I can say is a good piece of "bobbying" from the officers who first attended. Well done and long may it continue!

It's people like those OAPs that give you a glimmer of hope for society. Not much though, they're OAPs, the last of a civilised by-gone age.

Talking of being hit with things, I was once hit with a 19 inch dildo at a domestic incident. Why I volunteered that information, I have no idea.

Lady boys, 19 inch dildos......I am worried Mr Hobbes!

The point I was trying to make was that you can defend yourself and not be in the brown stuff. Reasonable force, if everyone Googled it or understood it society might be a better place.

Regards.

It's a good point to make CC. However, the media has misled the public about common law powers in recent years. Notably when a farmer shot two burglars as they were running away from his address. Not quite self defence, but many applauded him for it nonetheless.

Funnily enough, my next post is about a burglar who got twatted by an OAP. How peculiar.

19" is a TV size not a c*ck size in my measuring system...

CC.c, don't worry about Insp LH and the dildo. According to The Farside's Gary Larson, `Until the invention of its more famous replacement, arguments in the Old West were often resolved by the use of the Bowie Spoon`.

LH; Quite right. After the old truncheon was replaced, the incidence of `baton strikes` increased primarily because, for the first time, there was proper training and guidance devoted to the use of force. The public do indeed need reminding that police are entitled to defend themselves and to be pre-emptive in the use of force if they perceive it necessary. No more Aunt Sallies.

BE: You remind me of the anecdote where the punter places his pecker in the new girlfriends hand and asks "What do you think of that". She replies, "Well its a bit like a penis, only much smaller".

Calm down now boys! Is this what the heat does to your brains?
Ladyboys and 19" dildo's? Such make believe. Don't you mean a 9" dildo Insp Hobbes? Unless the domesetic was at a Safari Park and it was for an Elephant?

C.C I too would be very worried about any HUMAN in posession of a 19" dildo! However, I suspect that Insp Hobbes may well be referring to his partner, at his own personal domestic. Rather relieved that he was only hit with it, and that it was not.... er, you know....

Anon - well done on the diversity front, referring to my wife as my 'partner'. You ACPO by any chance?

For all I know Insp Hobbes, you could be gay, or a lesbian. Or just living together. Rank? Not tellin'......

Don't answer any more of Anon's taunts LH, he's a PSD spy who's profiling you. (I must dash as I'm being followed by a giant hedgehog called Spiny Norman)

I worry C.C, because there are some very nasty people in this world, who like to hurt others.
