Busy few weeks.

I may not be able to post for a couple of weeks but all is well.

The copious amounts of typing, re-typing and further re-re typing of my application will I'm afraid, take priority.

It's pretty life changing and if successful won't be the lowest of the low anymore, probably the highest of the low. Work it out if you wish to. Will still be a Constable and still confused, just in a different role.

Anyway, unless anything particularly noteworthy comes along you won't be hearing from me. Depending on your point of view this may be viewed as either a positive or negative. Will still be adding my inane comments though.

Regards.

SOC,

think you have knabbed it with the first.

Got to give it a "whirl" haven't you? As for the other they smell and hurt when they stand on your foot!

Regards, mate.

Sorry about the troll on your last.

What I would love to know Constable, is WHY are you confused?
And what, or who, are you confused over, or about? I'm also intrigued as to what you meant by "I may need a signature soon"..... your comment in the New Broom post?

I will fess up to be just a little bit confused by this government and their sense of "fair play", justice and what is acceptable in a so called democracy.

At a guess it sounds like you are going for a promotion. Good luck C.C.... And it would be a negative to not hear from you. Glad that all is well and that new directions are in the offing.
Stay positive, you are NOT the lowest of the low at all.
Who says that you are eh?

The very best of regards to you X

Are you trying to get a different colour shirt perchance? If so, good luck and it IS a good move. Believe me..

MTM,

not promotion. Confused because I have all sorts of stuff that I am supposedly able to do but according to the Govt. am not allowed to do. Why dide they teach me a long time ago to do a job and then find myself shackled by a bunch of people who do not want me to exercise the authority they have given me.

Disgruntled,

wont just be a change of shirt, whole uniform would be a better description! Though still a constable.

All still pie in the sky at the mo.

Regards.

I think he's confused because of being given authorities he hasn't been trained for, as well.

C.C. Thank you for your explanation regarding "confusion".
You are doing well to be just confused. You must be made of tough stuff Constable. Lesser mortals would be driven raving mad by that sort of nonsense. You obviously passed the historical "potential police officer test", for the essential character trait of "patience of a Saint"....

Regarding being shackled and hindered by people who will not "allow" you to do your job. Who did you swear an oath to? Hmmmm
Your job is to enforce and uphold the Law, isn't it? If the govt et al are telling you that you "cannot" do your job, as per sworn oath, isn't that some sort of perversion and/or, obstruction of justice? Or is it possibly obstructing a police officer carrying out his duty? Try assertive growling at them! And having none of it, if the LAW is on your side. Go for it.

Not promotion eh? A different uniform? A move to foreign shores?
Oh no, not another good copper planning his escape to foriegn lands, because of the Stasi in Westminster! Boo hoo!

Peas and pie, in the sky ;0)

I know where you hope to go.Your clues are too simple. Best of luck with the application and selection. It's not for everybody but I loved every minute and wished I'd made the move earlier.
